Let us experience and learn what makes Ayurveda a spiritual healing system.  This workshop will embrace the theme of transcendence and adaptation through yoga asanas (postures) as sacred gestures to the Vedic Gods Vayu, Agni and Soma for healing the body.  Special energy mantras (sounds) and pranayama (breath techniques) will be combined to heal the mind along with the heart expanding devotional practices.  The practical wisdom of Ayurveda is woven into the class through some discussion and metaphor to make yoga and veda one.
